Major Lakes
Lake Azuei or Etang Saumatre: (170 sq.km.) is located at the eastern extreme of the Cul-de-Sac Valley. It is 22 km long and 12 km wide.
Lake of Miragoane: (25 sq.km.) is located at one-kilometer southeast of the city of Miragoane. Its length is 12 km.
Trou Caiman: ( Approximately 16 sq.km.), this small lake is located east of the northern part of the Cul-de-Sac Valley. It is 9 km long and 3 km wide.
